Claire's First Red Sox Game

Last night the family headed down to Coors Field for a beautiful summer evening baseball game between the Colorado Rockies and the Boston Red Sox. Claire had a great time watching all the excitement around us (and maybe a little of the game). We left the park while the Red Sox were still winning so she was not subjected to the pain that is associated with being a Red Sox Fan.

Primrose Family of the Month - June 2010

At the beginning of June one of our favorite teachers Miss Jamiee was named "Apple of our Eye" for the month of June. This allowed her to pick the family of the month which turned out to be us! Our story is now posted on the bulletin board, in the newsletter, and apparently online.

Happy Father's Day

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO ALL OUR FAVORITE DADS!

AN EXTRA SPECIAL HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO ALL THOSE CELEBRATING THEIR FIRST FATHER'S DAY -

Andy, Josh, James, Barry, Gautam, Pete, Geoff, David S, and of course Dave!

For Father's Day we went to the zoo (we know we are getting predictable!). We were up and moving early in the morning so we were able to enjoy the zoo while it was still cool and not crowded! We strolled around visiting Claire's favorites and even watched them feed the penguins. It is fun to see Claire's reactions as she is able to take in more and more with each trip.

Since we were there early in the morning the elephants were still inside and Claire seemed to love seeing them up close.

Dave's family met up with us at lunchtime and Claire enjoyed some down time (she was suppose to be napping) in her sun tent as the peacocks walked on by.

Claire is 6 Months Old!!!

It is hard to believe that Claire's 1/2 year birthday is already here. We can't believe the changes in six short months and are amazed at her growth and development. Her smiles and laughter have become infectious in our household and we are blessed to have such a healthy and happy baby. Claire has been doing amazing with her rolling, sitting, and eating solid foods and it's hard to remember the days of supporting her head and making sure she was eating every 3 hours. We are so proud of our little girl and love her so much and can't wait to experience the joy the next six months will bring.

Swim Class

Today we took Claire to her first swim class at the Rec Center. Claire met some new friends and tried floating, kicking, and blowing bubbles (which did not really work, but she loved that pool water). Here is a short video of Claire using the floating barbel and working on her kicking.

The Sweetest Sound

We had just finished watching the Scripps National Spelling Bee and Dave was jokingly saying "Ding- Your Wrong" and apparently Claire found that very funny.
